About
Tejút park is a comprehensive leisure and sports park in the Csepel-Csillagtelep district (Budapest XXI. district), completed in 2019 as part of the Budapest European Capital of Sport program series. Inspired by cosmos and space themes, the park contains 59 large ornamental trees, shrubs and decorative plants with an automatic irrigation system. Free sports facilities: 300-meter long tartan running track, multifunctional basketball and football court (6 football goals, 6 basketball hoops), ping pong table, fitness park (9 equipment pieces) and conditioning park/street workout park (10 equipment pieces). The park is equipped with smart street furniture: benches, locker benches with USB charging, automatic toilet with changing table, free WiFi, drinking fountain and bicycle racks. Super spaceship playground for the youngest with rubber-coated craters, hills, slide, climbing structures and trampolines.
