Kézér Ballée

About

Kézér Ballée is a dance arts association and the legal successor of a sports association operating for 20 years. After a name change in 2016, it focuses on competition alongside creating dance theatre productions and rethinking the fusion of various movement forms. The association is led by Kézér Gabriella PhD, a lecturer at the Hungarian University of Dance Arts, and a dance pedagogue awarded the Bonis Bona and Nívó prizes. Among the ensemble members are dance artists who graduated from the Choreographers and Dance Pedagogues Institute of the Hungarian University of Dance Arts, as well as former students currently pursuing their studies or already working at an international level. The association's competing members have achieved domestic and international successes, including a European championship title. Training focuses on aesthetic gymnastics associated with the name of Sára Berczik, improvisation methods, and the teaching and fusion of jazz, modern and contemporary dance styles.
