About
Budai XI Sportegyesület was founded in 1979 as Kelenföldi Tömegsport and has borne its current name since 1986. Operating under a mutual agreement with the XI. district municipality, the association has 10 sections: aerobic, table tennis, American football, caving, karate, basketball, football, rhythmic gymnastics, volleyball, triathlon, badminton, and mind sports. Their largest section is basketball with nearly 200 members. The association played an active role in the domestic launch and popularization of several sports, and has won Hungarian championship and international titles. It regularly organizes district and city-level competitions, camps, as well as physical fitness assessments and lifestyle counseling.
