Located between two bridges is a mysterious inner courtyard, known to few, yet this building has stood here perhaps the longest, precisely since the 1800s, as it was built immediately after the great Tabán fire. A few steps lead down to the massive vaulted gateway entrance, and passing through it we can discover the enchanting little cobblestone courtyard, whose ruler and guardian is a walnut tree over 100 years old. This courtyard is located in the Virág Benedek House, named after the master of Hungarian ode poetry and one of the most influential figures of old Tabán.
