ELTE BEAC is a university sports center offering karate, aerobics, strength and fitness, and SUP (stand-up paddleboard) training. The karate department teaches the Okinawan goju-ryu style, interpreting the sport as a martial art with a focus on self-defense and self-knowledge development. Training sessions take place twice a week. The institution has been operating since 1898.
