Hajós Alfréd Nemzeti Sportuszoda is a water sports center located on Margitsziget, founded in 1930. It features both indoor and outdoor pools: a 33-meter pool, training pool, diving pool, and 2 outdoor 50-meter pools. The facility hosts the country's best swimmers, water polo players, synchronized swimmers, diving swimmers, divers, modern pentathletes, and triathletes for training and competitions. It has hosted numerous world competitions, including swimming European Championships (2006, 2010) and the Water Polo Champions League final. Recreational athletes have access to sauna, rest, and sunbathing facilities. In summer, day camps and swimming courses are offered, as well as beach operations. School and club swimming instruction takes place in the training pool.
