How it works

In EMS, an electrode suit activates the major muscle groups with impulses while you perform simple exercises under a coach's guidance. A session is 20-25 minutes, and 1-2 sessions a week is recommended because the load is intense.

Who it's for and who it isn't

Popular with time-poor office workers, for postpartum recovery, and general toning. Not recommended with a pacemaker, during pregnancy, with epilepsy, or with certain circulatory conditions - studios take a health questionnaire beforehand.

Prices

EMS is pricier per session (typically 6,000-12,000 Ft, cheaper with a package) because it's always personalized and coach-led. A first session is often free or discounted as a trial.
