Surface and season
Clay is the most common surface in Budapest: easier on the joints, but slower and needs upkeep. Hard courts are faster and weatherproof. In winter, indoor courts and inflatable bubble courts keep play going year-round, at a higher hourly rate.
Booking and coaching
You book a court by the hour, with price depending on time of day and season; a regular, fixed time slot is often cheaper at most clubs. Adult and kids' coaching, as well as hitting-partner matching, are available at most clubs.
Club life
Clubs run internal tournaments, team leagues and amateur ladders where you'll find opponents at your level. The list also includes public, freely bookable courts.
